This competition is now closed.
Welcome to the new Appliances Online blog, we are glad you could make it!
Now for those of you who were lucky enough to attend and receive one of our complementary Cake Bake jars at the London MAD Awards, well done you! That’s great and you have no excuse but to join in with our fun competition. You have been given all of the dry essentials to get this bake off started! (Please read below to see what other wet ingredients you will need.)
If you were unable to attend the MAD Awards or would just like to join in, please don’t fret- this competition is open to all bloggers. If you don’t have a blog, fear not, still join in on the fun! Simply scroll down to the bottom of the page to see all the entries. Maybe even try some of the recipes for yourself. Yes that’s right, the more the merrier. We want to see what you can all do! (All ingredients are listed below).
What’s in it for me? Well I can tell you, we have over £400 worth of prizes to give away to one lucky winner and that winner could easily be you. All you have to do is flex your culinary muscles in the kitchen and tell us how you did it! (No rocket science necessary).
This is a chance for you to bake cakes and win prizes- Lots of them! (Seriously there’s no catch). In fact, you could win:
Worth a total of over £400 you lucky devils!
We want you to be creative, add ingredients, decorate it, and get the kids to help! Then just post your creation onto your blog page and come tell us all about it and link it- make sure you link it up to our link party.
Dry ingredients required (if you didn’t get one of our snazzy cake jars):
You’ll also need to add wet ingredients to your cake jars (you will all be needing these):

OR prepare 12 cupcake cases

I’m disappointed to see you going down the “VOTING” route. Up until now, you have been a shining example of how competitions should be run – on merit. Now it seems as if you are going down the route of “blog about us, and you MAY win prizes”. Any blogger with an ounce of integrity will stay well clear of this one.

when did you decide to extend the closing date? and more to the point I am wondering why?
Yep, not happy about the extension to the closing date. If I’m right, that contravenes ASA regulations…
We simply decided to extend the competition because it was going really well.
Thanks anyone who’s got in touch with us about it though, we really value all of your opinions and feedback, have taken them on board and will using them towards all our future competitions.
The competition closes Thursday, and the winner will be the following week. Keep your eyes peeled for some extra runners up goodies too!
